What we will do:
We are hosting an afternoon of Bible study that will be broken into two forty-five-minute sessions. Each session will be focused on reading and discussing one of Jesus' parables. There will be a teacher who will present the material and guide group discussion as well as facilitate questions and comments from the participants.
The schedule and topics are as follows:
2 PM - The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25.14-30)
2:45 PM - break
3 PM - The Parable of the Wedding Banquet (Matthew 22.1-14)
Where we will be:
This event will be hosted in Balboa Park. We will be in the park under the trees at the corner of San Jose and Havelock. If you have trouble finding us, you can call Josh at 256-694-7998.
Who this is for:
If you are seeking to know more about God, the Bible, or Christianity, you're welcome to join us. Everyone is welcome whether you're already serious about the Lord or have no knowledge or religious background at all.
What you should bring:
A bible and either a chair or blanket to sit on.
